Profile
From concept to final frame, I create engaging animation, motion graphics and video content that helps ideas connect with people. My work combines storytelling, design, character performance and editing to create visuals that are clear, memorable and full of energy.
I am an animator, motion graphics designer and video editor based in Harare, Zimbabwe. Clone People is the name I work under. Most of what I make starts as a script on somebody's desk and ends as a finished film: explainers, brand animation, character work, series and the edits that hold them together.
Rigging
Production-ready character rigs in Toon Boom Harmony, built for expressive range and clean deformation, so the animation is the only hard part.
Plenty of people can animate a character. Fewer can build the machine underneath it. I rig in Toon Boom Harmony, head rotations, expressive range, lip-sync that survives fast dialogue, and that work is what lets a series keep a consistent cast across episodes without redrawing the design every time. It also means a character you approve on Monday can be in a finished shot on Friday.

How a project runs
1. Brief. You tell me what it is for, who it is for and when it is needed. I come back with a shape: length, style, what is realistic in the time.
2. Script and storyboard. Ideas get written down and drawn before anything moves, so the expensive decisions happen on paper.
3. Animatic, then animation. You see the timing before the labour. Then it is built, rigged where needed, animated and composited.
4. Delivery. Agreed cuts, formats and any source files, handed over clean. Revisions are scoped in the quote, not discovered at the end.
