The brief
Episode two of an ongoing series: take the office: the fluorescent lights, the pointless meetings, the slow death of a career, and play it as horror-comedy rather than as satire with a message.
Approach
Everything is hand-drawn. The line work is deliberately rough, because the wobble in a line carries the discomfort better than a clean one would.
The comedy is played straight. The character behaves as though this is a normal Tuesday, and the audience supplies the horror, which is why the episode reads as workplace satire rather than as a sketch.
